ગુજરાત પોલીસના કે9 દળમાં 11 તાલીમબદ્ધ બેલ્જિયન મેલિનૉઇસ ગલુડિયાંનો ઉમેરો થયો છે. આ ગલુડિયાં રાજ્ય પોલીસના પોતાના બ્રીડિંગ સેન્ટરમાં જન્મ્યા છે. તેમની માતા ‘ચેઝર’ પણ આ જ કેન્દ્રની પેદાશ છે. આ કુશળ જાતિના કૂતરાં ડ્રગ્સ અને વિસ્ફોટકો શોધવામાં મદદરૂપ થશે. પોલીસે તેમના નામ માટે લોકો પાસેથી સૂચનો મંગાવ્યા છે. ગુજરાત પોલીસ પોતાની બ્રીડિંગ સુવિધા ધરાવતી એકમાત્ર રાજ્ય પોલીસ છે. માદા ચેઝરે તાજેતરમાં એક બાળકને શોધવામાં મદદ કરી હતી.
